It's hard to believe we're in August already and as usual the summer seems to be flying by.
Our pool bookings start again on Tuesday 21st August just before our Ocean Diver course begins on 28th Aug when we look forward to welcoming 10 mew members to the club.
Going forward we will have both pools on Tuesdays but we're changing our booking so that we will only have the diving pool on Thursdays.
Don't forget our members open water weekend in Portaferry at Barholm & The Ferry Port Cafe is booked for 20th and 21st October so keep that weekend free!Continue Reading Update

What a great weekend we had at Barholm for our Open Water Weekend.
This was a chance for our budding Ocean Divers to take to the sea for the first time and a a good excuse for a bit of a party too.
We enjoyed a table quiz on Saturday NIght and a meal together. The weather and underwater conditions were just fabulous!
Thanks to everyone who was involved in any way with the smooth running of the weekend and well done to all our shiney new Ocean Divers!
Sports journalist Mark Sidebottom had a try dive with us and really enjoyed the experience. If you would like to find out more about Scuba Diving or arrange a Try Dive for yourself then visit our Try Dive Page or email email@example.com

A great crowd of divers gathered 18 bags of rubbish as well as assorted barrels boxes etc. We met the RNLI rep at the boathouse and they kindly donated some goodie bags for the fund raising underwater treasure hunt.
Philip and Gavin laid the numbered treasure tags and then everyone else had a great time looking for them. It was really good craic swimming around looking for the tags and a little run and poor viz made no difference.
All hungry divers and supporters treated to a delicious barbecue and it was well deserved.
Well done Philip and crew for a brilliant day out, good for the area, the environment, Portaferry lifeboat and of course, Lisburn sub aqua club.
We had the LSAC banner flying throughout! Amount raised for Portaferry RNLI was £160.53. Well done everyone!
2017 has been a great year for Lisburn SAC. Members have been on trips to The Red Sea, The Isle of Man, Scapa Flow and not forgetting our training weekends at Barholm in Portaferry and regular diving too!Continue Reading 2017 what a year!
