Welcome to Lisburn Sub Aqua Club!
(located in Lisburn, Northern Ireland)
Lisburn Sub Aqua Club, affiliated to BSAC, is made up of an enthusiastic, diverse and inclusive group of divers who love our sport of Scuba Diving.
We’ve just celebrated our 52nd Anniversary in 2022 and dive nearly every weekend, all year round. There’s mid-week diving during the summer too.
The Club is family friendly (minumum age for membership is 14) and normally meet on a Tuesday and Thursday evening in our club rooms beside the Lagan Valley Leisureplex (See Map).
We have access to the swimming pool for an hour, when training, on Tuesday nights from 9.30pm
Our diving tends to take place all around the Northern Irish coast, and we regularly organise expeditions away.
Over the last few years we have organised trips to Scapa Flow, Isle of Man, the Red Sea, Tenerife and Arranmore.
Conveniently located at the Lagan Valley Leisureplex in Lisburn, around 8 miles from Belfast in Northern Ireland, we’re well equipped with our own boats, compressors and Scuba equipment that beginners can use free of charge while learning to Scuba Dive with us.

Learn to Dive – Ocean Diver
The BSAC Ocean Diver course is our learn to dive offering.
It takes you from learning in the swimming pool through to your first dives in the sea.
You get an internationally recognised qualification too.

Already Qualified – Join Us
If you’re already qualified with BSAC or another organisation such as PADI, SSI , CFT or CMAS then you can join us and dive to your current qualification.
You can crossover to BSAC and continue your training.

Training
Lisburn Sub Aqua Club provides training for BSAC qualifications from Ocean Diver, progressing to Sports Diver, Dive Leader and up to Advanced Diver.
The Club promotes regional BSAC skill development courses, such as, Boat Handling, Oxygen Administration, Search and Recovery Techniques.
We also provide support for members who wish to progress to instructor level and teach scuba diving.
Club Life
There are more than 1,100 BSAC clubs around the UK and overseas.
Members get all the advantages of learning and diving with BSAC in a vibrant club atmosphere.
Membership includes all gas fills and use of the club boats for dives.
The club provides ongoing training and support and of course there’s the social side to consider too!
